Phantom Detailing was established in 2022. I started Phantom Detailing out of a love for detailing and the satisfaction that quality work can bring. The island of Maui has several great shops that offer high quality work, but not everyone has the time to bring their vehicle to a shop...it is not convenient. Ceramic coating jobs, for example, can leave you without transportation for days, but I can do most graphene/ceramic coatings in one 6-8 hr day!

For now, Phantom Detailing is a one man operation. My name is Jay Hurd. I am a father and family man. I am a 14+ year resident of Maui based in North Kihei. I consider myself lucky to have my passion and business be the same thing. I will work on your car with same energy and commitment that I do my own vehicle.

I have many years of experience with Ceramic/Graphene Coatings, Paint enhancement, Paint Correction and Interior detailing. I enjoy what I do and take great pride in seeing that smile on a customer’s face when I am finished with their vehicle.

My goal is provide the exact service that you want. I am happy to consult about what outcomes are possible, but clients, typically, have a budget/goal in mind and it is important this is respected; customer service is the goal. Some clients may want perfect paint and others are happy with their paint looking 50-70% better, as one example. For this reason, I don’t have set pricing.
